I hope you will agree that a direct personal assessment is worth all the reports in the world.

I am waiting impatiently the order of precedence of the designs which you must send me, and now I hope my personal troubles are going to disappear, and permit me rapidly to give you satisfaction.

By your meditation Mr. Evernden I would like to express to each person of Rolls-Royce with whom I came into contact during my visit to Derby, my great satisfaction and thanks for the charming reception which was given to me, and my admiration for the quality of the work which I have appreciated, and for the efforts towards perfection. All this will stay long in my memory.

Yours obediently,
(Sgd) G.Paulin.
