Chem's To: Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 8/h.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 11.10.41. 1044. I have your note about senior range engine development. We get some chain sprockets in a few days for Mark VI. without using HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} I believe we could use the same methods for the V 60. Will you have a talk to Bastow, who handled the job. With regard to the V.{VIENNA} 60. castings, before you alter the 3 3/4 bore pattern please get an aluminium casting off it, as I want to run a dry liner aluminium engine without water between the bores, if the 8-cylinder aluminium with water between the bores is a success.
