Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.2/MH.{M. Huckerby}17.12.38. SPECIFICATION FOR PRESSURE COOLED CAR. (1) Radiator. (a) Matrix - size 2¼" deep, 18¾" wide, 16" high. type - fin and tube - probably Cupro-nickel hydrogen brazed. (b) Yoke, cross bracing, straps, cradle etc. - Dural. (c) Tanks - Cupro-nickel, 16 SWG., to withstand pressure - cylindrical header separate from top tank possible. Thermostat unit (Brit. Thermostat) instead of steam valve. Inlet and exits to tanks to suit B.V. and B.60. (2) Revised water thermostat. (3) Vauxhall gland water pump for both B.V. and B.50 - 1½ inlet. (4) Aluminium fan hub and pulleys for B.V. and B.60.
