The blistering of the H.T. wire tubes was dealt with by cutting off the Ebonite between the outlets of No.3 and 4 and was brought into production. This complaint should very quickly be deleted. On future cars a tube of aluminium enamelled black is being fitted designed by W.W. Item (32) Magneto H.T. Wires. We have received assistance from Wyer re this complaint. The question of turning the tube round 180° has been taken up with W.W. Item (33) Water Pump Fabric Drive 20/25 HP. We have received valuable assistance from Wright dealing with this complaint. His suggestions have been taken up with By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} with a view of the possibilities of incorporating them. No progress can, as yet, be reported from By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Item (34) Engine Water Leaks from Cylinders. This complaint is being dealt with by Depots in changing the aluminium tubes as the complaint arises. These should very shortly cease to exist. We have received suggestions from Turner with a view of dealing with the manufacturing difficulties appertaining to water leaks.
