HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X741 BY1-P5.4.23. 40/50 CHASSIS. PISTON RINGS. I am sending you herewith a special piston ring manufactured by Messrs. Clews Peterson & Co Blackburn Rd. West Hampstead, London.N.W.6. I thought possibly you might like to try whether there is any advantage in the use of this ring, or not. I have seen similar things before but I am not wure whether we have ever tried one. Obviously the disadvantage that it may have is, it will be more difficult to bed than the single ring. The makers claim that one of these rings is quite sufficient, so that no other rings should be fitted when testing same. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
