X.4242. RE "GOSHAWK" II - STARTING HANDLE.
---------------------------------

We send herewith a print of "N" Scheme 707 shewing the adaptation of "Goshawk I" starting handle gear to "Goshawk II". It also shews a portion of the mounting of the radiator and of the bonnet rests, but we are sending full-sized schemes of these in the course of a day or so.

As a result of experience on "Goshawk I" we have slightly stiffened the starting handle in torsion, that is, on the section YY.
