To G {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} /WFH/LH. {Mr Haworth} from Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.
c. Roy. {Sir Henry Royce}

Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.3/MH. {M. Huckerby} 14.9.38.

Referring to G {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} /WFH/LA. {L. A. Archer} 4/PS.12.9.38, we are unaware that Mr. Dunn of Messrs. John Marston Ltd. visited these works on the 9th. inst., and have not been able to find anybody who saw him. In any case the matter of the settlement of the charges in question now rests between Roy. {Sir Henry Royce} and Messrs. John Marston Ltd. We have made clear our opinion as to how the charges should be allocated, it is now necessary for Roy. {Sir Henry Royce} and Marstons to come to an agreement on this point. This has been explained both to Roy. {Sir Henry Royce} and Mr.Payne, the chief of Messrs. Marston's Cost Department.
