We thank you for yours of the 13th instant, and note that you prefer the 3/16" bore Type "MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}" tubing, but require the end fittings to be to your dimensions, viz: .500" diameter with 20 T.P.I. The price for this specification is as follows:-

Lots of 500 ... 1s/- each
Lots of 100 ... 1s/0 1/2d. "

nett delivered to your Works, less a cash discount of 2 1/2% one month.

With reference to your query, we confirm that our Type "MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}" tubing will be quite satisfactory for a constant pressure with oil of 50 lbs. per square inch.

We are preparing a further six samples in accordance with your specification, and will despatch these in due course.
