| 3. Friday 8TH (a) Cylinder head removed and new gasket fitted. (b) Different carburetter, induction pipe and exhaust manifold tried. (c) Tested with open exhaust ports. (d) Tested with exhaust manifold only. Result. no change. Sat. 9TH Cyl head removed, and cyl block, a new set of pistons fitted. Engine rebuilt. Result - no change. Monday 11TH Tuesday 12TH Engine was stripped and non standard camshaft removed, standard camshaft fitted. Engine rebuilt. Result - no change. Wednesday 13TH Engine removed and complete new unit fitted from production, retaining the gear box of previous engine. Thursday 14TH Car received from the fitters at 10. AM. Friday 15TH. Result.
