re. 20-HP Sparking Plugs.

With reference to your BY1/P8.4.24. we have only had these sample K.L.G.Plugs in our hands since the 1st. inst. We have in the meantime used them for testing 20-HP engines on the dynamometer and the unit test bed and on the road, and so far we have had no trouble.

We have arranged to send six of these plugs to a certain customer who has continually grumbled about the old K.L.G. plugs, as we felt that probably his experience would be useful. So far, however, we have not been able to obtain any information from him.

We have also tested six of these Sparking Plugs on our special bench test which we demonstrated to Mr. Lee Guiness caused the K.L.G.Plugs about which we complained of being faulty, to break down. These plugs stood this test quite satisfactorily although they had previously been used on the test beds.

I have not been able to get hold of Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to discuss the point with him, but I am able to report that as far as we have gone the plugs have not given any trouble, and if Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has no objection, I feel we should recommend obtaining these for our stock, but in small quantities only until such time as we have established their satisfactory use in service.
