V7520 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.22/KW. 29th June, 1934. Messrs. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Barclay & Co,Ltd., 20, Conduit Street, LONDON, W.1. Dear Sirs, Re Mr. Stubbs' Car 2-PY. I tried this car yesterday and was able to observe that the complete control system for the shock absorbers was functioning correctly. However I was not impressed with the riding qualities of the car and am arranging for some new parts to be sent to Cricklewood for the shock absorbers of this car. When Mr. Bellringer receives the parts I hope you will be able to arrange for him to have the car. I should loathe to hear that Mr. Bellringer had fitted the parts to some other car as he was not able to get hold of 2-PY. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
