I should like to refer particularly to our proposals for direct injection, and perhaps I should say at this juncture that I am writing at Mr. Skinner's suggestion. Kent and myself have been working on this proposition for about eighteen months now, and we feel that the time has now arrived, and that our present design is sufficiently advanced, to justify our starting on some serious experimental work.
