Base of cylinder barrels to be radiused off, with a smooth polished finish. 7. Sump Oil filler with ejector breather pipe, incorporating boss cast on for filling from the extra oil tank. 8. Ex.20943 Cylinder head, inlet ports to be machined out to 1.625" dia. 9. Ex.133/4 Valve top and bottom washers Ex.20868 inlet valves produced in KE.965 Bottom tappet and valve springs not to be enamelled. 10. Ex.118 Mod to Ex.20937/8 inlet pipes branches bored out to 1.625" dia 11. Carburetter enamelled, as supplied by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GTS 12. Sump plug to be sealed. 13. Pipe joints from reserve tank to sump to be sealed. 14. Borg & Beck clutch to be supplied by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smith incorporating stronger thrust springs and RAP.11 facings - clutch release bearing carrier GS.2491 to be modified to Ex.121 15. All the external oil pipe nuts to have provision for locking up. 16. Close ratio gearbox including clutch pit in magnesium. 17. Oil pump securing studs to be fitted with castellated nuts and split pinned. 18. Any bolts running through section into inside of the unit to have the nuts rivetted. 19. Crankcase sump drain plug to have locking plate fitted. 20. Crankshaft oil pressure test to be carried out with Castrol XXL. 21. Automatic oil feed which maintains the quantity of oil in circulation at 1 1/2 gallons Ex.22793 float chamber. 22. All external oil, petrol, water pipes to be locked as in Aero practice. | ||
