- 15 - at various points on the chassis was looked into and Design Department agreed to investigate the possibilities of increasing the clearance where necessary. The worst point is the clearance under the sheet metal crossmember. The present clearances are to be compared with those existing on the Cadillac 16 cylinder car. (19) Variable periodicity device in front spring cylinders to N. Sch.4177. (20) Steering. It was agreed that it was essential to obtain and test out the Marles steering on this chassis. (21) Bodies. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} stated that it was essential to put in hand two more bodies immediately. he suggested one close coupled body and one saloon. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} agreed to get into touch with EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} and find out how soon these could be obtained. | ||
