To increase reliability. Experimental Test Report. We have had several cases of failure of the std. thrust races fitted to 20 HP. cars. The new proposal makes use of a New Departure type bearing of more robust proportions. See report attached to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG13.10.25. Road Test Report. Run 11,000 miles on 9-G-111. Bearing found to be in excellent condition at the end of the test. Action Box: A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test. D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis Weight of Old Part.
