Failure of thermometers on the 40/50 HP chassis, with vibration suspected as the cause.

R9/G4.2.20 regarding the fault with the thermometers, I find that the thermometer on 7-CA also does not work. Will you please dismantle this and ascertain the cause of the failure. It is noticeable that the needles of these thermometers continually vibrate at a high speed presumably from the vibration on the chassis and this may be the cause of the failure.
