Dear Sirs,

We have received an advice from J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Compain, 64 Rue des Marais, Paris, Correspondent of The Continental Express Ltd., to the effect that the Dunlop Wire Wheels have arrived in Paris.

We have been in communication with these people who require a "Licence d'importation" for Customs purposes, so as to enable them to withdraw the goods and forward same on to us here.

We regret to state that we have no such documents in our possession, and this matter will have to be taken up with the Dunlop Company.

The Wheels in question will be of no use to us if they are not delivered before the 27th of this month. Therefore if this cannot be accomplished, the wheels will have to be returned.

Yours faithfully

[Handwritten note at bottom]
Have asked Dunlops to arrange for the wheels to be returned from Paris - and send on to us. Have wired GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} accordingly. MHD 24/8/35
