To BT.{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer} from Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} K6553 Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/HP.7.7.34. C. for Mr. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Mby RMH. Bentley - Front Wings and Lamps. Herewith is N.Sch.4124 shewing the arrangement of the dropped crossmember joining the attachment of the lamp carrier brackets and front wing stays to the frame side member, to reduce lateral shaking. The front apron requires some slight modification to clear the sloping part of the crossmember, and this has modified a little the apron fixings. Also the lamp carrier side plate is slotted up for the same reason. Otherwise existing production parts are unaltered. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
