require is a print similar to B.10023/4, but referring to your scheme drawing B.9828.

It is almost certain that we shall soon standardise the Roller Assembly to B.9828, and we should be glad if you would let us know whether you will be able to supply these in quantities and whether your quotation of 13th October, 1936, still holds good. We mention the question of supplying in quantities because, approximately, 18 weeks have elapsed since we ordered the assemblies which you are supplying to our Production Department, and we still have not got satisfactory parts. Such delay in the case of possible orders for assemblies to B.9828 would completely hold up our production.

An early reply to the various queries in this letter would be appreciated.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
