3. have the revised electrical instructions until last May when we took steps at once to have the matter printed and sent a further proof to Mr. Royce on June 9th. Shortly afterwards Mr. Royce replied asking that a number of alterations should be made to the pamphlet. This was handed to Mr. Clark for his attention and some little correspondence resulted and it was not until the end of August that Mr. Clark was able to submit a revised proof to Mr. Royce. This, however, was approved by him early last month and on September 27th 1,000 copies of this Electrical pamphlet were handed to Mr. Sanderson for distribution. In the meantime, namely, at the beginning of July last, we had revised the Chassis Instruction Book up to the proof stage and in view of the fact that I was daily expecting the electrical section to be approved it did not appear worth while to print the Instruction Book without it for the reasons already stated. At the moment the proofs of the new book are corrected and about to be returned to the printers and we hope to receive them, complete with the electrical section incorporated, in from three to four weeks' time. All along you will observe we have been faced with the vital necessity of getting out instructions referring to the electrical section, that is, the chief feature of the new chassis, and have therefore given this preference. The booklets have we believe now been distributed. | ||
