When I Was with Mr.Royce the following points were brought up which I consider you should write to him about.

1. Manufacture of Epicyclic Gear.
Mr. Royce thought it was not practical for some-one else to make the gear if we did the hardening. I told him that we were getting very good gears from the B.U.S.M. but I did not know what arrangements were made as regards hardening.

2. Battery Ignition.
Mr. Royce wishes to push on with the battery ignition with all speed. He stated that he would like Mr.Clark to do the experimental work on the coil.

Will you please issue instructions for

Mr.Ellis to hand over to Mr.Clark all the parts he requires.
