The engine oil consumption was 1,264 m.p.g. when checked at 30,000 miles and it is still giving a good average consumption of 1,000 m.p.g.

AUSTIN - 8 HP.

This car has not been so reliable and trouble free as the Austin 10 HP. as the following failures show, since receiving the car at speedo reading - 2,096 miles.
