Starter actuator. 29th Jan. Starter main switch unit. 5th Feb. Exhaust butterfly valve controlgear & jacket connection. 29th Jan. Engine underguards. 29th Jan. GEAR-BOX SECTION. Four speed side change servo gearbox. End of Feb. FRAME SECTION. It is anticipated that 2 months will be required to complete E.A.C.4. chassis section. Mr. Royce has authorised a wider rear track to match the front, new side and cross members, new torque sphere and universal joints involving a longer torque tube, new pedals and mounting for same. There will also be some minor consequent alterations to some of the existing details such as the drawbars and centre bracket of rear springs. The brake system being altered to all servo requires revision, and in order to take advantage of the new steering we were authorised to modify the dash brackets & floorboards. We expect to start on EAC.4. this week, but there is a certain amount of Goshawk work which we believe should take precedence. | ||
