This car has left Chateauroux for England on completion of 10,561 miles. Martindale is taking it back. Will you please note the following faults:- 1) Leak from water pump gland. 2) Oil leak from rocker cover joint. 3) Engine gear thrash period at 850 r.p.m. 4) Thermostat sticks open on occasions. 5) Difficult starting hot. 6) Various oil leaks from Gearbox. 7) Oil leak from rear axle pinion bearing. 8) Oil leak along O.S. axle tube to carrier plate. 9) Damaged keyway in rear brake cross shaft. 10) Oil leaks and end play on shaft of N.S.R. Armstrong damper. 11) Query loss of poundage on rear dampers. 12) Aluminium dust cover strained at rear end of N.S.F. roadspring. 13) Front expansion box second hand obtained from Paris Depot. 14) Headlamp wiring generally out of order. 15) Foglamp not connected up. 16) Petrol gauge erratic in action. 17) Electric clock out of order. 18) Speedo trip recorder displaced in instrument. 19) Body torn away from wheel arch support brackets. 20) Rear brackets to rear cross member broken.
