In view of the use of an overdrive gearbox on this car, we want to lower the rear axle ratio from 10/41 to 10/43. Up till now we have had gears of 10/43 ratio made in America. We attach herewith a memo written by Clough some time ago, asking Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} to order the necessary index plates. This memo now merely needs a date and signature.
