6-EX Car, you will remember, was fitted with a Goshawk type steering wheel. We proved on this car that we were getting small irritating shocks on the wheel and that the car in this respect was worse than the standard 40/50 HP.

We carried out tests and proved that if we increased the inertia of the wheel by adding extra weight on to the rim, we do noticeably decrease the shocks on the steering wheel. This point should be taken into account when considering the use of the Dover type steering wheel.
