SECRET C HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | Wnt Car Radio 16153 EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/HP. 30th January 1935. Messrs. Park Ward & Co., 473, High Road, Willesden, LONDON.N.W.10. Dear Sirs, re Continental Touring Saloon 32-EX. We enclose herewith a Specification for the coachwork of 32-EX Continental Touring Saloon. We wish to confirm our conversation with you on Monday concerning certain details. Any remarks then made which are contrary to details in the specification take precedence over such details. (1) We confirm that you will send us a tracing of the plan and elevation of the bottom of the rear boot to enable us to design a suitable bumper fixing and to deal with proposals for a modified petrol filler for use on subsequent cars. (2) We may wish to substitute for the Bedford stops on the doors an American type of door stop if such can be obtained in time. (3) The rear boot lid{A. J. Lidsey} is to be locked with two silent block locks operated by special flush fitting handles of the type used by Messrs. Young and Co of Bromley in the manner shown in the sketch below. | ||
