Report regarding a faulty thermometer on Chassis No. 3-CP-178 which was reading 10 degrees high and subsequently replaced.

Whilst on test with this car yesterday, we noticed the Thermometer to be reading 10° High. We tested the latter against our own Thermometer, in the same tank of water, and the car instrument definitely read high. We fitted a new one from Stock, which registered perfectly. The displaced one is being sent to the Works for your attention, after which, please let us have it back, for Stock. Our Order 12557 covers.
