Dear Sirs,
For the attention of Mr.Mathews.
Referring to your letter of the 26th.inst.
We confirm your note that we shall be using 33 x 6.75" tyres on 21" rims on our 40/50 car for some little time and that you will continue to supply them as at present, i.e. the non "Fort" type.
Whether we shall be able to use at some future date the "Fort" tyre in this size, or the 7" "Fort" tyre on the 19" rim, we cannot at present say.
For the 20 HP. we agree that the 32 x 6.00 "Dunlop Normal" tyre shall be supplied for replacements on chassis recently manufactured and that our present and future requirements are 31 x 6 "Fort" tyres for 19" rims.
Yours faithfully,
For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
