With reference to your favour of the 6th June last and my reply of the 7th, on looking at your letter again, I note that you are experimenting with Houdaille Suspensions supplied to you in 1914. The Models that I am now making are naturally an improvement in most ways, and particularly as there is a very big range of movement on your rear springs, the Houdailles you fit to the back of the car should have the longer lever arm which we are supplying now for Chassis fitting, and a still longer one that we shall have in about six weeks time for Axle fitting. I am not aware whether at the rear of your car you fit the Houdailles by bolting to the Chassis or by a plate connected to the Axle, but if you will oblige me and let me have the information, I should vastly prefer your completing your test with the newer model and with the longer lever arm.
