The following is a letter received from Mr.De Salamanca:- "By a letter which I have received from Mr. Alvarez I have just learned that his radiator leaks at"l'endroit clasique"(the usual place) and that he has had to have same repaired at a cost of 270 pesetas (£10.13.9). As I believe this comes under the guarantee in view of the great defect of the present radiator, which Rolls-Royce persist in not changing, or studying, it will be necessary to send this client a new radiator, and pay the above charges. I await confirmation of your accord. Ninety per cent of the Spanish clients have, have had, and will have, great trouble in respect of the radiators. I ask you today to send me 2 doz radiators as there are several cars here which need new radiators." I should like to be in a position to tell him approximately what we are doing in regard to supplying more successful radiators in the future, as he seems to think we are doing nothing. Can you inform me please? You will of course not act on his request to send him 2 dozen new radiators. B.J. This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
