12 B.V (?) - RIPPLE
-------------------------

The following faults are apparent in the short time

I have run this car:

The Windscreen lets in [handwritten: rain] running water at the top hinge joint. This has been temporarily improved by a strip of adhesive tape.

Steering. This is heavy compared with other B.5s and is not self-centering over small deviations from the straight at low speeds.

Change gear mechanism. This is sticky and heavy.

Petrol Gauge. Does not read correctly

Revolution Counter. Knocks, and the needle fluctuates. Lewis has improved this by slacking off the driving end. There is, however, rather acute double bend in the drive between the instrument and dashboard.

There does not appear to be much sign of transmission vibration with a load of two passengers.

The Propeller Shaft appears to be out of balance about 70 m.p.h.
