3 I must not attempt to write more or it will not get finished & posted. I had not heard much of Mr Rowbotham. Hope he is well & doing some good work, I have some ideas about stiffness of frame lateral & torsional but expect you have run right away from me. I see the Bentley use 3 point suspension for their big. 6. probably very slopply flexible all ways I have wondered if 2 points were forward or 1 at back. I have suggested they should be forward but you did not find any advantage. Brakes I have thought depended on were influenced in squeak by water getting on them. Valves springs such here. for PII were same as those on, we had hoped some. adv in taper ones on recent memo. (I have not heard) Still in breaking in all things may be much better after this illness was pretty well worn into a restless state. for Car carburettors. I have some work in hand. which should show some. improvement in Vol. efficiency at all speeds. P.S. Show this to any one you think intended. Yours Sincerely F.H. Royce | ||
