OIL PUMP DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY PHANTOM III With reference to the following memos.- Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}33/T.14.9.36. BY/CS4/EH.2.9.36. Please note yesterday we received from Accles and Pollock, 195 of the E88347 Driving Tubes, which means we can now go ahead preparing the parts for changing over the chassis built. We now promise to supply sets of material as under.- 30 sets to the Test Dept. week-ending Sept.26th in addition to our output from the Erecting Bay. 50 sets for week-ending Oct.3rd in addition to our output from the Erecting Bay, and continue at the rate of 50 sets per week for changeovers until completed. There is one point with which we are concerned, and that is as to whether the C.O. will be able to keep us going with further batches of material for the Driving Tubes E88347. Actually yesterday Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} advised us no further supplies would be available for 4 weeks, and I have told him this will be of no use, and we must have material within 14 days to enable us to keep production going in addition to changeovers.
