We have confirmed that Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} is giving .010" pitch line slack each side of the tooth, i.e. a total of .020". We suggest this should be done at N. also. We think also that instead of testing each tooth separately a complete circular gauge should be used so that errors in division of the teeth are corrected.
