X8300 To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} c. Dr. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. By/NW.{N. Walker - Patents} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}10/KT.4.8.33. CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT. When recently at H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} they complained that customers could no longer adjust their clutches when the pedal reached the boards. There were no tools in the kit and the instruction book says this operation is not to be carried out. We consider adjusting the fingers in position a difficult operation and suggest customers should alter the length of the external rod at present pinned to adjust their clutches, or alternatively, that some suitable external adjustment be provided.
