1124 t2ds ? Experimental Dept. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}8/MH.{M. Huckerby} 11th. February 1938. Messrs. Richard Klinger Ltd., Klingerit Works, Sidcup, KENT. Dear Sirs, We have continued our tests on your "Klingerit 1000" cylinder head gaskets both at .010" and 1/32" thickness and though they are remarkably good as a joint they have the disadvantage of splitting and tearing if the head be removed. For our experimental use we would like to order another dozen gaskets to Ew.1014 but .010" thickness, similar to the 6 previously ordered. Also at some time to suit your convenience we would like to discuss the trouble we have experienced and show you samples of this. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
