Dear Mr. Robotham,

I am obliged to you for your letter of the 25th instant, and propose, in accordance with your suggestion, to call upon you on Thursday the 2nd May, in connection with the gear you have on the road.

In regard to the Bentley Steering, we have had a certain amount of trouble with the pieces, but I think that everything is now plain sailing, and if this proves to be true, then the Gear will be finished in the course of the next few days.

In regard to the contents of your letter, I think perhaps the better way would be to leave this over until I see you on Thursday, when the whole matter can be fully discussed.

Yours sincerely,
