I have not seen Summers for about six months, but he wrote to me the other day and complained about the springing of his car. I tried the car when he first had it, and consider that it is up to standard. There is no doubt that the 20 H.P. Hillman which he has is far better sprung than the Bentley, but that is because it is fitted with independent suspension. Mr. Summers having seen the improvement which we have made on the P.III by having independent suspension naturally puts two and two together, and anticipates that we can do the same thing with the Bentley.
