Re Chassis 74.A.3. Bennetts.
-------

We send you herewith faulty dynamo No.368, which we have just removed from the above chassis.

This machine has been examined by us, and we find it to be very erratic in its charging, and also bad for sparking at thebrushes. You will find that the commutator is badly burnt in two places at an armature bar spacing. We therefore think that the trouble is due to poor or loose connection at this point.

When you have carried out your examination, will you please pass this dynamo to SFT{Mr Swift}, to be put into good order and returned to us together with your report. Order No.50767.
