we can ensure that any drawings which you have for production purposes are definitely up to latest standard in all respects. We shall be interested to have your figures as soon as they are available.

We have commenced tests on the car heater and motor which you have sent us but have not yet obtained sufficient information to be worth forwarding. We are, however, certain that we shall have to modify the bearing arrangement as this is far too noisy. We had to reverse the direction of rotation of the British Thermostat Co's motor.

You will recollect that we asked you to produce a second similar heater for us as we wish to have one fitted to a Bentley III car as well as the one on which we are carrying out tests and modifications. We are to-day sending you an official order for such a heater and would like this completed as soon as you can manage it.

We will forward the necessary bearing parts when they are ready and also the necessary front fan together with a hub for the rear fan. We have decided to make this detachable.

You will also recollect that we asked you for heat dissipation figures on a Phantom III Mk.V block before and after Kyrac treatment, will you please let us have these.

We should like to know whether any of the two dozen Bentley III dummy shutter vanes which we were requiring are available yet.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
