| Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}20/E1.5.35 - 2 - If you really want more performance, then I think that lateron, i.e. in 6 or 8 weeks' time, we shall be able to offer you a higher compression cylinder head with which you would have to use Ethyl petrol but which, I think, would be more worth while than the aerolite pistons. The total expense for the new cylinder head including valves and new pistons would be £45. Those of our technical officials who have tried a car fitted with this head report an increase of acceleration and better top speed from 2 to 3 m.p.h. It is of course doubtful whether you would consider it worth while spending £45 to achieve this. I wait to hear from you. Yours sincerely, (A.F.Sidgreaves) A.H.R.Fedden Esq., Of Messrs. The Bristol Aeroplane Co.Ltd., Filton House, Bristol. | ||
