X9410 To PN.{Mr Northey} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG2.10.24. 48-PK CAR. X9410 X9770 We are taking this car to WW. tomorrow to get the springs approved. We shall bring the car from WW. to London tomorrow night and will leave it at Lillie Hall. Will you please therefore give instructions so that the car can be washed tomorrow night and it will be ready for you the first thing on Saturday morning. The following jobs need carrying out to the coachwork on this car :- 1. Chassis painting. 2. Dent taking out of rear wing and re-painting. 3. Hood straightening. 4. Rattle in windows. This car is fitted with a pressure gauge and pump. Since these have been fitted, an Autovac has been added in place of the pressure tank so that these fittings are not now required. We have left them on the Instrument Board because there has not been time to make a new board. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
