The Sales Manager,
Messrs.Bentley Motors Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Sir,

As you are perhaps aware, I have had four Bentley cars having had one each year you have been in production. I have recently tried out one of the twelve cylinder Lagondas, and to state that I was impressed would be putting it very mild mildly indeed.

I do not wish to enumerate the various points upon which I consider the Lagonda supersedes your model, as they are too numerous, but one point in particular that I do wish to mention is the steering and front wheel suspension. Each of the Bentley cars that I have had, I have had trouble with steering wobble, or juddering. I have complained of each car that I have had about this, and my present car is definitely very bad, and to my mind most dangerous.

I am mentioning this fact to you in order to give you an opportunity of rectifying this most serious defect.

Should you be in a position to rectify it, will you please let me know, when you can collect my car and have the work done, failing which, I am afraid that I shall have to leave Bentley and purchase for next year a Lagonda.

Yours faithfully,

(Sd) Frank A.Hall.
