BENTLEY CYLINDER BLOCKS SIMPLIFIED TO FACILITATE FOUNDRY WORK. During the holidays we managed to get the design for the Bentley cylinder block detailed. This design incorporates all the requests made by our own Foundry, and also all the information obtained at Buicks that was applicable to our particular construction. 6.B.IV is going to France to start a 15,000 miles' test in about three weeks' time, and if we can get a block through to the new drawings we would run it on this car; then if it is found it would help the Foundry with castings, we could standardise it immediately. At the same time, you might like to review the wet liner construction on the Wraith. We should be glad if you would urge this job. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
