To EFC from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} X.6022. Boyce Electric Clock No.601 ex-58-GN.

Sgl6/E30.3.31

Replying to EFC3/AD27.3.31 I gave all available information about this when I handed it over to Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} at Derby.

From the time it was supplied until the week ended 21st inst. it was quite satisfactory in use with the exception that it lost about 3 minutes per week.

It was never removed from the instrument board and, therefore, was only subject to normal treatment such as a clock receives when fitted to one of our cars.

The chauffeur informs me that the clock stopped before the hand setting knob broke off and that it was when he went to alter the hands that this knob came off.
