Continuation of a letter
From LEYLAND MOTORS LIMITED,

-2-

for Mr. Hodgson and myself to come over to Derby at some time in the near future for a dis cussion on this point, but as I shall be absent abroad for some four to six weeks we think it would be desirable for Mr. Hodgson and Mr. Markland, our Research Engineer, to take the opportunity of discussing the various points with you at Derby, and possibly with Mr. Devereux, as we feel that a lot of useful information could be obtained during a discussion of this sort.

Mr. Spurrier will, however, be writing you when you reply to this letter and, as stated above, as I shall be absent, perhaps you will be good enough to address your reply to Mr. Spurrier direct.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. LEYLAND MOTORS LIMITED.
V.W. Pilkington
Chief Engineer.
