-2- Contd. When the battery is fully charged this cut-out puts the above-mentioned current coil out of circuit and in its place in the circuit puts a volt-coil so arranged that the dynamo now delivers a current at constant voltage. The main automatic cut-out is for disconnecting if the battery discharges through the dynamo when the voltage of the latter is below that of the battery. The vibrator regulator is of a special type and can be replaced with the greatest of ease when its contacts are used. Power and delivery of the Scintilla dynamo 100 W. type. The 100 watt type dynamo furnishes its maximum power, that is 100 watts in the neighbourhood of 550 r.p.m. The pressure of 13.5 to 14.0 volts is attained at about 350 r.p.m. The charge of 8.5 amps. is constant while the battery is not fully charged. This latter is therefore always charged in the most suitable way. The battery being fully charged, the dynamo supplies a rigidly constant pressure of 14 volts. Contd. N.R. 8303 (T) (R.S.
