X251 To Mr. Rowledge from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Copy to Mr. Short. Mr. Cox EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}5/IB.5.2.34. re:- Petrol Filler - Bentley. You will have heard, no doubt, that it has been decided not to standardise the outside petrol filler - N. Scheme 3929, for production, as it is thought that the disadvantage of the appearance does not compensate for the added luggage space so obtained. It has been agreed, however, that we can fit it to this Experimental car, so that we may learn something about it and be in a position to offer it to such customers who insist on an outside filler and are prepared to pay for it.
