PHANTOM III. GEARBOX.

We have found that there are occasions when a slightly stronger selector spring will prevent a gear coming out on the over-run.

Will you please instruct for Production a top and 3rd. gear selector spring to G.56309 instead of G.82221. We suggest this is fitted to all cars before they leave the Factory. Less than five minutes are required to effect the change.

The increased change speed effect is not noticeable and much trouble may be saved by this alteration.
